Combinations that are cool:

• Old reggeaton like daddy yankee with Jungle
• Hyp hop with jersey club, specially rap/gansta rap
• A very dreamy/ambient in the back, and a slow rock base, or a rap
• Jersey with reggeaton

Mix transition:

• Track one loop of 1 beat. Track 2 beat before drop in loop. Enter in track one beat, make it shorter, cut with reverb, change to track 2
• From high speed move to cumbia, and use a 1beat loop.

Learnings:

• When doing soft rock, shoegaze, etc. dont put two songs at the same time. Transitions very fast, not smooth
• dont use short loops, they are very repetitive. Maybe use 16 beat loop, and change the place from time to time
• The transitions should last as the same as the beats from the music. In house-trance its very long the transition. In rap-rock-etc is very short.
• Loops beter with low volume
