Fadi ordered the next:
- T-PCIEA7670E with GPS H542
- T-PCIESIM7070G H441-07
- PCI-E Module, PCI-E 7080G Module Card SIM7080G
- AXP192 Chip Module
- Focus on 7080G and 7070G
Fadi proposed to use latch, but they are not going to work cuz the antenna connectors are in that edge of the board. Is necessary to use some standoff like this one
Resources:
- The information of the connector can be found here
- The connector should be this one from mouser - 1775862-2 - IT IS NOT THIS ONE; SHOULD BE 4.0H socket
- The module should be this one, but this one is better
- The connector is this one, but from the chiniese library
- It needs this part to secure the PCI PCB
- In this datasheet there is a description of the pcie-m
Pinout
There are slight differenrences from modem to mode. It seems that they took the standard for modems in pci-e and then they used some NC pins. For the schematic symbol I am going to use the base schematic, and then change the NC to the signal it should be.
PINOUT A7670
PINOUT SIM7080G
Modem Powerkey
In the PCI there is a signal called powerkey and reset, however fadi told me that the powerkey is just for reset, but that doesnt make sense no?
In the modem 7080 it goes to the IC powerkey, that is:
And also I can get the info like:
Another thing that I just realised is that there is no reset pin in the 7080, is a bit different from other modems >.<
