Here I am going to write how I applied for the SU. And also another important facts of the SU.

Housing benefit

If you life in denmark you can get a housing benefit.

Apply for tax card

Apply for tax card in Skat dk. You need to upload the contract and put a lot of information.

Apply to SU

Go to MinSU. After applyting to SU you need to apply to equal status with denish, see below.

Maximum money that you can earn next to the US. If you earn more you need to give back the SU. The maximum that you can earn in 2022 as a high student is DKK 13,876 per month (Update in 2023 is 18,412). The ammount of SU that you can earn as non-citizen in a high school is DKK 6,397 per year. month before tax in 2022.

UPDATE Jan 2023: Using the calculator it is easy to know if you exceed the SU. For me if I don’t get SU one month I should be more than covered.

IMPORTANT My SU was declined because I applied too early. It is necessary to apply after 2 weeks before you start working.
