My name is Francisco Acién and I am reaching out to you today on behalf of my team; Green-Tech Cooling. We are Students from DTU, Technical University of Denmark, creating a spinout as part of the course X-Tech ( https://www.entrepreneurship.dtu.dk/education/x-tech-entrepreneurship).   

We have taken on a project involving the recycling of large cooling plants. Currently we have a partnership with Novo Nordisk; who have two large cooling plants that are being de-commissioned as they rely on toxic CFC/HFC gasses.

European Union legislation related to the emission of polluting gases is pushing the replacement of toxic refrigerants, such as CFCs, to less polluting ones for the environment. Our team is focused on the possibility to re-use/re-purpose and even re-build these cooling plants to use again.   

This has led us to you. As the transition of refrigerants is a problem that is facing down all companies among Europe, we would love to know which decision has your company adopted in order to follow the new gas emission protocols. Our team of students would love to set up a meeting to discuss any similar issues you are having/expected to have with ‘cooling’ assets and re-establishment within your company. Current uses you have for cooling machines and the possibilities of using them in the future.
