Some people think that the government should spend as much money as possible on protecting the environment. Other think this oney should be spent on other things such as education and healthcare. Which one of these opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer

Primero, el dinero destinado a medio ambiente volverá en el futuro en la creación de nuevos empleos.

Segundo, si no se destina dinero en medio ambiente hará que el problema venga en el futuro.

The environment is limited and it affects to a lot of parts of a country’s economy, the primery sector is highly connected with the environment, also the tourism depends on it. In my opinion protecting the environment should be a prior task for the government. This piece of writing will explain my views on this topic in more detail.

First of all, allocate resources on protecting the nature will help on creating new companies and workers, moreover it will help to improve the economy of a country. The most basic example is that primary sector, consisting in agriculture and farming, depends on the quality of the environment. That means that allocating money to the protection of the environment will generate new companies on the primary sector, that is the basis of a country’s economy. Furthermore, the tourism sector can be beneficiary on this aids by attracting new clients to the country because of a good reputation on having clean areas. A good example of this could be France, that give a huge amount of money on protecting the nature on beaches, that have a double effect, it helps the nature protection and attracts new tourist to the country.

Secondly, not protecting the environment now could be a serious problem in the future. If we do not clean the mountains every summer, it might help to create a fire that will cause a lot of damage on the economy and the nature. To give an example, in my home town in Almeria, there is a lake very near to the beach, that it is a very important place for biodiversity, and recently it has been damaged due to bat migration caused by the construction of new buildings. This could not seems to be a big problem, but the animals living is this lake help to the local economy, that little by little could cause a big crisis.

In conclusion, for the reasons given, I would prefer to allocate money on protecting the environment becuase it helps the economy in very different ways, otherwise it will generate a serious problem affecting a lot of people and workers. Investing money on protecting the local nature is always a great idea that will benefit on the future.
